Building on the 2016 Women in Business White Paper, Untapped Potential, the Toolkit provides examples of concrete business initiatives aimed to increase the number of women in management and leadership roles in Japan. These case studies introduced in the Toolkit, aligned to recommendations made in the 2016 White Paper, are meant to encourage companies operating in Japan, as well as the Japanese government, to make greater efforts to achieve gender equality in the workplace.
